Rekha Devi applied for a PMEGP loan for a small flour and spice mill twice, and twice her file came back with objections she did not understand. A neighbour told her about the new Youth Adda center in Gorakhpur.
The center team reviewed her file and found the issues: the project cost was under-documented and the unit location did not match her domicile records. They rebuilt her project report, corrected the documentation, and tracked the file through the DIC and bank stages.
Sanction came in eight weeks — ₹9.2 lakh with a 35% margin money subsidy. Her mill now processes wheat, gram and spices for nearly forty families in her village cluster, and she has hired two helpers. Her daughter handles the UPI payments.
