Aman Singh finished his ITI in electrical trade and spent a year looking for a job that never came. At Youth Adda Kanpur he enrolled in the EV technician certification course — a 6-week program covering two-wheeler EV diagnostics, battery management and servicing.
At the Franchise Mela that followed, he was shortlisted by an EV service brand offering a low-investment franchise model. The center helped him compare the agreement terms, apply for a MUDRA loan for the initial kit, and register his enterprise on Udyam.
His two-wheeler EV service point opened eight months ago and now handles more than 200 service jobs a month with two apprentices — both of whom he met at the same Youth Adda batch.
