Ruchi Verma had been stitching blouses and salwar suits from a single machine in her verandah for six years. Orders were steady, but she could never take bulk work — one machine, one pair of hands.

When a Youth Adda camp came to her block in Sitapur, she registered with a simple question: "Can someone like me get a loan without collateral?" The center team walked her through the CM Yuva Udyami Vikas Abhiyan scheme, helped her prepare a project report for a 6-machine stitching unit, and coordinated with the lead district bank.

Forty-five days later, her interest-free loan of ₹4.5 lakh was sanctioned. Today her unit runs six machines, holds a standing contract with two Lucknow boutiques, and employs three other women from her mohalla. "The scheme existed before Youth Adda too," she says, "but nobody had ever sat with me and filled the forms line by line."
