Youth Adda ("we", "us") is an initiative of UPICON — U.P. Industrial Consultants Limited. This policy explains what personal information we collect through https://cmyouthadda.in and our district centers, why we collect it, and the choices you have. By registering with Youth Adda or using this website, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

When you register as a beneficiary we ask for your name, mobile number, date of birth, gender, email (optional), educational qualification, postal address, district, state, pincode, the Youth Adda center you wish to visit, and the purpose of your registration. If you contact us through the website we also receive the details you include in your message.

Like most websites, we automatically receive basic technical information such as your device type, browser, and pages visited. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site; this data is aggregated and does not personally identify you.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create your Youth Adda ID and deliver services at your chosen center — skilling programs, loan facilitation, franchise guidance, MSME support and government scheme access.
• To verify your identity through one-time passwords (OTP) sent to your mobile number.
• To contact you about your applications, upcoming programs, events and services relevant to your registration purpose.
• To prepare aggregated, anonymised reports on program reach and impact.

3. When We Share Information

Your information may be shared with government departments, banks and financial institutions strictly for processing the schemes and applications you have opted into — for example, forwarding your details to a bank for a PMEGP, MUDRA or CM Yuva Udyami loan application. We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone, and we do not share it with third parties for their marketing.

4. Data Security & Retention

Registration data is stored on secured servers with access limited to authorised UPICON and center staff. We retain your information for as long as needed to provide services to you and to meet reporting obligations under the programs we implement, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

5. Cookies

The website uses a small number of cookies for essential functionality (such as remembering your language preference for the Hindi translation) and for Google Analytics. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings; the site will continue to work.

6. Your Rights

You may ask us to correct or update your registration details, or to delete your account, by visiting your Youth Adda center with your YA ID or writing to us at info@upicon.in. We will respond within a reasonable time.

7. Children

Youth Adda programs are intended for individuals aged 14 and above. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone below this age.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the current version, and significant changes will be announced on the website.
